Welcome to a new way to hear what is going on at New Hyde Park Memorial. Besides just hearing from us through Connect Ed phone calls, we wanted to give parents additional ways to receive information from the different departments throughout the building, hence this newsletter.
We would like to provide information on a DELAYED OPENING procedure to be implemented by Sewanhaka Central High School District. A delayed opening will be considered by the Superintendent of Schools if road or weather conditions are hazardous at the normal opening time, but are expected to improve. Delayed openings will delay the opening of school by two hours. Please see the attached for addtional information.
