Last week the first of several electronic signs were activated at the Sewanhaka HS campus. This project was funded by Legislator Carrié Solages allocated as part of a bipartisan effort between Legislators Vincent T. Muscarella, Richard J. Nicolello and Laura Schaefer.
Earth Day is an annual day intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. Events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Since 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22 and is observed in 175 countries.
The Board of Education of Education hosted it's second meeting at Sewanhaka High School on Wednesday to discuss the budget for the 2015-2016 school year. The next presentation will be held on Thursday April 17th, 2015 at 7pm. The public is welcome to attend.
