Holocaust survivor and noted author Marion Blumenthal Lazan addressed the entire sophomore and junior classes of H. Frank Carey High School on March 13.
Ms. Lazan spoke to the 500 students for 90 minutes about her experiences during and after the Holocaust. Her message included the hope that these students would now be able to bear witness to her experiences. Many students, including one class who had the privilege of reading Lazan’s book, were so moved by the presentation that they stayed after the event to meet her.
This program was made possible thanks to a generous donation from the H. Frank Carey PTSA.
