New Hyde Park’s MUN Team Competes at Boston University
The New Hyde Park Memorial Model United Nations team competed at the Boston University Invitational Model UN conference held in Boston, Massachusetts.
The conference brought together more than 2,000 students from all over the country to debate such important topics as gender equality, the rights of refugees, child trafficking and combatting the international drug trade. New Hyde Park represented the nations of China, Peru, Argentina and Belgium, as well as several specialized assignments in crisis committees. Seniors Claire Friel, Grant Wong, Madeline Justiniano, Rebecca Justiniano, and Billy Zois led the team.
