The Sewanhaka High School FBLA chapter attended the 2017 State District meeting at Hofstra University.
At the meeting, members of the Sewanhaka chapter competed against a number of schools from Nassau and Suffolk counties. The events included written and verbal competitions with topics ranging from finance to technology.
“The meeting inspired me to appreciate the bonds that FBLA, and really any other club, allow you to form with your peers,” FBLA member Daniel Deslippe said of the experience.
Congratulations to Adrian-James Gevero, who placed second in Technology Concepts, Kaitlyn Milinic, who was awarded first-place in Job Interview and Hospital Management, and Sukhvinder Singh, who placed fifth in Marketing.
