Twenty-six students in the district’s Career and Technical Education program were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society in the program’s first-ever honor society induction on May 12.

Eighteen Advanced Placement students from New Hyde Park Memorial, along with English teachers Anna Caruso, Mary Kay Mannle and Andy Yen traveled to England and Ireland during the spring recess.
Twenty-three students from H. Frank Carey High School spent their spring break exploring Iceland, the land of fire and ice, a literal hot bed of geologic and scientific activity. Students were able to see the powerful effects of nature, as well as how this power could be harnessed.
